Are you TNQ?
Capitol Way, Colindale NW9
TNQ is a joint venture between NEAT and Royal London. Praised by The Commission for Architecture and Built Environment (CABE), TNQ is testament to the ethos of NEAT and serves as a template for future large mixed-use developments. Integrating residential and commercial, reconciling the needs of the local community, retailers and residents, TNQ is a flag bearer for developments to come.
Homes at TNQ designed and built to a high specification as standard, showcasing the best of contemporary style and facilitating modern lifestyle needs. Apartments include under-floor heating throughout, LED lighting, engineered timber flooring, enhanced internal sound insulation, fibre to the home (FTTH), surround sound provision and much more.
FTTH combined with high speed data cabling (CAT 6e wiring) throughout living rooms and bedrooms facilitates data speeds up to 10 Gbps (500 times today’s typical 20 Mbps broadband connection). This provides the data infrastructure for multi-room simultaneous video streaming of Ultra High Definition (UHD, aka 4k) content, and in due course 8k Ultra HD.
Comprising five striking buildings, TNQ consists of 460 one, two & three bedroom apartments, up to 90,000 sq. ft. of triple height retail and leisure space, secure covered car and bicycle parking, gym and crèche. The buildings are built around four large private courtyards elevated 40 feet above street level, landscaped with mature trees, planted borders, water features and modern stonework.
“The scale of the development provided us with a real opportunity to create a flourishing community at TNQ. Shops and community facilities respond to the bustle of the Edgware Road and animate the façade along Capitol Way. As well as providing impressive views for residents, a tower onto Edgware Road also identifies TNQ as an important local landmark.” - Charles Dunnett, Architect and Managing Director at DunnettCraven
