The Better Way
1-8 Capitol Way is a joint venture between NEAT and Royal London offering a well-designed mixed-use development that benefits the local community providing jobs and new homes. The proposal includes approximately 414 new 1, 2 and 3 bedroom homes in a mixture of mews style houses and a range of apartments, a percentage of which will be allocated for affordable housing.
In addition to the new homes, the development will include 45,000 sq. ft. of modern employment and commercial space, including a business hub consisting of co-working space, studios and offices offering opportunity for new and growing local companies.
1-8 Capitol Way will also feature amenities including a gym, concierge, modern landscaped courtyards, car & bicycle parking for residents, businesses and visitors, a café to serve the community, and also a new public transportation bus stop on Capitol Way.
Currently occupied by a vacant warehouse, the redevelopment will offer the local community new employment opportunities as well as well-designed homes to increase supply of housing in the local area.
Brent Council’s Planning Committee resolved to grant consent for the proposals on Wednesday 14th March.
